Well I am 10 weeks old now and getting soooo big. I went for my 2 month check up and shots. I am 9lbs 3ozs and 21 inches long now. I did pretty well during my 5 shots, I cried but not for very long. That evening I began to not feel so good and started crying and just could not stop, thank goodness my Mimi and Papa only live a mile away. The doctor said that I look like a perfectly healthy baby. Also my results on my hip ultrasound said that everything looked normal, HOORAY !!!

The next week, my cousin Alex came to visit and boy did we have a busy weekend planned, but we had so much fun. Mimi and Papa took us to Pirate land, which is Alex's favorite. We also went and had our christmas photos together.

I also had my first Thanksgiving and my Granny (my Dad's grandmother) got to meet me. And you can see me holding my first wishbone...

Then I got to go and meet Santa and his Reindeer.

November 10th

Today, I had a busy day. My mom started back to work today, she was ready to go back to work but she wished that she could take me with her everyday. My dad is keeping me during the day and my Papa is keeping me in between when he goes to work and my mom comes home. On Friday's I start M & M day...that means Mimi and Makenzie day...these will most likely be dedicated to shopping. Also, tonight my Papa went to see the Suzi Bass award being presented. Look at the picture below and see how fancy he looked. While Papa was gone my mom and Mimi decided to have a photo shoot. Because I was a little girl my name could not be Joe...so instead I am a cup of Makenzie ! Also I am starting to smile a lot now, and we finally got a picture of it. I go next Monday for my 2 month check up and my shots...I will let you guys know how big I am getting.

Doctors Appointment

On October 1st I had my 2 week check up. I weighed 6lbs 1.3 oz, I am getting to be a little chunky monkey (not really). I was the same length. All of my labs from when I was born came back normal and Dr. Greenberg said I was a very healthy baby. I still have to go for my ultrasound for my hips in November but the doctor said they feel fine. We will update you after I go.

My first real bath !

Today I got to take my first real bath (my belly button is healed now)...Here are some pics.

Makenzie's Arrival !

I AM FINALLY HERE !!!!!! I arrived on September 17, 2008 !!! I weighed 5lbs 12.2 oz and was 19.5 inches long. By discharge my weight was down to 5lbs 8 oz. Mom and I are both doing great! We got to go home on Saturday the 20th, just in time for the Georgia Bulldogs game. I pretty much sleep all the time now (this will soon change). I am awake only about 3 hours a day, and that is just to eat and get changed. I probably only cry about 15 minutes a day, besides that I am a perfect baby. I went to the doctor on Monday and I had lost a little bit more weight, I am down to 5lbs 6.7oz. My doctor said I look perfectly healthy. I do have to go and have an ultrasound in six weeks to have my hips checked because I was breech.
We will try and keep updating this on a regular basis, so you know what is going on with us. If you ever want to stop by, just call us.

My 2nd 3D/4D ultrasound !

We went for my 2nd 3D/4D ultrasound tonight. I cooperated a little better once I woke up and moved my hands. There are some pictures below that you can see my little face. I think I am going to look like my mom, at least I do have her fat little cheeks that she had when she was born. I am due in 10 weeks and can not wait to meet everyone ! See ya soon !

3D/4D ultrasound !

OK, so we went for my 3D/4D ultrasound on Saturday. I was a little stubborn and would not cooperate at all. I held my hands and arms over my face for an hour while everyone tried to see what I look like. It was confirmed that I am a little girl! Good thing because my room is already done, and it would have looked a little silly if I were a boy. There are a couple of pics below, but it is hard to see what is what. I am yawning in one of them and the other is my side profile with my right arm in front of my face. I go back in 2 weeks to try again. Hopefully next time, I will cooperate a little better and get some better pics. We will update photos then ! Also, mom and dad worked on my room some more this weekend. There are some update pics below as well.

On Saturday, July 19th my mom is going for her 3D/4D ultrasound. Hopefully all the pictures come out good. Keep your fingers crossed and maybe next week you will be able to see what I look like a little bit better.

I finally have a name !

My mom and dad have decided on a name... Makenzie Elizabeth.
Hopefully I will look like a little Kenzie !

Memorial day Weekend !

My room is painted in different colored pink stripes which is adorable and very girly. My mimi and papa came over and helped move my armoire and my rocking chair into my new room. It is all coming together great, just waiting for my dresser and my bedding to arrive. My mom put some pics up below so you can see it! Remember it is still in progress!

May 20th Doctor Appointment !

Today was my 2nd ultrasound ! Everyone found out that I am a little baby girl !!!! The technician said that I am a feisty little thing. I was kicking and moving the entire time making it very hard to get pictures of me. I am measuring in at 10.5 inches and all looks well they say !!! My pictures are below! The top one is where they saw I am a little girl !!! In the 3rd one you can see my face, my fat little belly, and my right arm is waving to you !!
